The new Wilson Library Research Collaboration Studio is now open. Work with groups using large monitors and a variety of seating in an open setting. Read about the studio, reserving space, and technology* at www.lib.umn.edu/wilsonstudio.
Below are a few photos of part of the space.
Entering the studio from the front lobby of Wilson Library.
Just inside the front entrance are a meeting room on the left and one of the collaboration tables with a large monitor and connections for laptops. The connection is an HDMI cable. Read more under Equipment at www.lib.umn.edu/wilsonstudio
Looking across the room you’ll see more meeting options and the reference collection (back wall).
Another large monitor station is stationed near the ready reference collection.
Core reference titles are on the far wall. Reference books formerly shelved on first floor are now on third and fourth floor. Many important reference sources in classical and Near Eastern studies are online.
