Library spaces with monitors

The Libraries have several spaces you can reserve for meetings with students and colleagues.

Group Study Rooms

There are several rooms you can reserve for meetings or group study:

  • 180C is within the Studio on the first floor of Wilson.
  • 180D is also within the Studio; it has a dedicated Bloomberg (business) terminal.
  • 107, 111, 112, and 113 are in the main lobby, just past the service desk.
  • 207, 209, 307, and 309 are just beyond the elevators, as shown on the floor plan.

The Wilson home page links to the floor plans. Check with the desk on first floor (call 624-3321) for more information.

Reserving a Room
You can sign up at z.umn.edu/reserveroom. This page also allows reservations for other libraries on campus. Mouse over the room number to view equipment in the room:

Getting Connected!
The monitors in the Wilson Research Collaboration Studio all have HDMI cables (like you use for your tv and dvd player, for example.) The rooms in the main lobby have VGA and DVI connections. If you need to borrow an adaptor/dongle, ask at the information desk on first floor.IMG_7165 connection instructionsNeed to meet with a group and use a large monitor?

There is currently one available room in the new Wilson Research Collaboration Studio, room 180C, with a capacity of eight.

The Studio has several additional monitors at tables  out in the open. The monitors in the Studio have HDMI cables (same as those used for smart tv or dvd player connections.)  For your laptop you can check out a dongle/adaptor kit from the information desk in the first floor lobby.IMG_7163 monitor + hdmi cables
